1. The agreement
These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Marcos Montero ("the developer", "I", "me") regarding your use of the Android game Bubble Tea Cats ("the game"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not install or play the game.
2. License
I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Bubble Tea Cats on Android devices you own or control, for non-commercial, personal entertainment. You may not redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, decompile, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code or assets of the game, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
3. Distribution
Bubble Tea Cats is distributed through the Google Play Store, which has its own terms of service. Your use of Google Play is governed by those terms in addition to the ones below.
4. In-app purchases
The game offers optional in-app purchases (currently: Remove Ads as a one-time, non-consumable purchase, and consumable coin packs). Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing — Google is the merchant of record. Prices are shown in your local currency at the time of purchase and include applicable taxes.
Consumable products (coin packs): the coins are added to your in-game wallet immediately and have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or recovered if you uninstall the app and lose your local save (the game has no cloud save).
Non-consumable products (Remove Ads): the entitlement persists on the Google Play account that made the purchase and can be restored on a re-install of the game on the same account.
Refunds: refunds are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy. If you are eligible, please request the refund directly from Google Play; I cannot issue refunds outside of that channel.
5. Advertising
The free version of the game shows advertising — interstitial ads between levels and optional rewarded video ads that grant in-game bonuses. The Remove Ads in-app purchase permanently disables the interstitial ads on your device. Rewarded video ads remain available after that purchase because they are opt-in by design.
Ad serving is handled by third-party networks via Unity LevelPlay. See the Privacy Policy for details on how those networks handle your data.
6. Game progress and your data
Game progress (cleared levels, unlocked items, wallet balance, equipped loadout) is stored only on your device. There is no cloud save. If you uninstall the game, factory-reset your device, switch devices, or clear the app's storage, your progress will be lost and cannot be recovered. Non-consumable purchases (Remove Ads) can be restored on the same Google Play account; in-game progress cannot.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use modified clients, emulators, automated scripts, or any other technical means to gain unfair advantages, exploit purchase flows, or interfere with the integrity of the game. I may take any available technical measure to protect the game and other players against such abuse.
8. No warranty
Bubble Tea Cats is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use or inability to use the game.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, my total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the game or these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the game and its in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Where you reside in a jurisdiction that does not allow these limitations, only the maximum permitted limitations apply.
10. Changes to the game
I may update, modify, or discontinue the game (or parts of it) at any time, with or without notice. New versions may change gameplay, balance, prices, or available features. Where in-app products are removed or materially changed, I will respect any entitlement you have already purchased.
11. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms when the game or applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use of the game after the change means you accept the updated terms where applicable law allows.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Madrid have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the game, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
