I lost all my progress after reinstalling. Can you restore it?

Unfortunately no. Bubble Tea Cats does not use a cloud save — your progress (cleared levels, unlocked items, coin balance) is stored only on your device using Android's app-private storage. When you uninstall the game or wipe its data, that information is permanently gone, and I have no copy of it on any server.

The only thing that survives a reinstall is your Remove Ads entitlement, because that lives in your Google Play account.

How do I restore my Remove Ads purchase after reinstalling?

Open the app on the same Google account you used to buy it and visit the Tea Tuner → Store screen. The game queries Google Play Billing automatically on launch — if your account has the entitlement, ads will be removed within a few seconds. If it doesn't happen, force-quit the app and reopen it once.

I bought coins but they didn't appear in my wallet.

In almost every case the purchase has cleared on Google's side but the game hasn't had a chance to acknowledge it yet. Try this in order:

  1. Make sure your device has internet.
  2. Force-quit the app and reopen it.
  3. Open Tea Tuner → Store — the game retries pending purchases on entry.

If after that the coins still aren't there, email me your Google Play order ID (it's in your Play Store purchase history, looks like GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX) and I'll investigate.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for in-app purchases are processed by Google Play, not by me. Within 48 hours of the purchase you can usually self-refund from Google Play order history. After that window, request the refund through the same page — Google evaluates it case by case.

I can't issue refunds outside Google Play, but I'm happy to advocate on your behalf if Google denies a refund unfairly. Email me with the order ID.

The game crashes on launch / mid-game.

First try the obvious: restart the device, make sure Android is updated, and reinstall the game. If it still crashes, email me with:

  • Device model and Android version
  • The level / screen where it crashes
  • Steps to reproduce
  • A screenshot or video, if you can

The game reports anonymous crash stack traces to Play Console, so I may be able to identify your crash from the build version alone — but the more context you give me, the faster I can fix it.

Are there ads in the game?

Yes. The free version shows occasional interstitial ads between levels, and offers optional rewarded video ads (the "📺 +50% coins" and "📺 SAVE" buttons on the level-end screens) that you can voluntarily watch for a bonus. Rewarded ads never block progression — they are always optional.

If you prefer an ad-free experience, the Remove Ads in-app purchase permanently disables interstitial ads on your device. Rewarded ads stay available afterwards in case you still want to use them for bonuses.

Will the game come to iOS?

Not for now. Bubble Tea Cats is currently Android-only. An iOS version is technically feasible (Unity supports both targets) but I want to validate the design and ship some updates on Android first.
